Ronald Shap | San Gabriel Mountains, circa 1980

A stunning panorama of the mountains surrounding Los Angeles, this painting is the jewel of the Ronald Shap Collection. The pastel flowers in the foreground offer a lush and verdant view of California in early spring. 20x30" oil on canvas, placed in 3.5 inch vintage wood frame. Total size: 25.5x36 inch. Signed. Framed.

Close inspection shows the bottom-left corner of the frame was cracked and repaired, and the paint on the frame has rubbed off throughout.

Reproduction prints of this piece are available.
